Hi, I'm aifnord (AlienFnord on CARM). I've mostly hung out on youtube, CARM and to a small extent on richarddawkins.net. I'm definitely done with CARM now, though. I'm an atheist (and enthusiastic discordian), and I've never been a theist; I went from not caring to active non-belief once I started thinking of it. I'm originally from Finland, but I move around a lot and I'm currently alternating between Finland, Sweden and England every couple of weeks or so. BR / aifnord

With "get secular", do you mean personally or nationally? If you mean the latter, I'm afraid Finland is officially Christian (we even have *two* national churches - Lutheran and Orthodox.) It's predominantly Christian in practice as well. When a Finnish humanist organization did the bus campaign (put up "God does probably not exist"-advertisements on buses), for example, except for the odd few humanists, they only got protests and bad press.

Hey, I can say something in Finnish! Mina rakastan sinua (I'm sure the spelling is all wrong) The spelling seems fine except that it's "Minä" instead of "Mina". To be honest, my finnish is abysmally bad (I'm of the swedish speaking minority.)

Sorry, I think I was confusing you with Sweden and Denmark! They were a bit in the news after Phil Zuckerman's book came out. Note to self: read and remember Denmark is not Norway, and Norway is not Finland.
