How do Jews generally handle such stories as the Genesis narrative and the Global Flood? Is there a Young-Earth Creationist movement too, do they believe it all literally etc?
Curious.

From many discussions my take is that generally speaking most Jews have no problem with a scientific view of the world. But Orthodox Jews do believe The Torah (first five books of the bible) is the inerrant word of God.
I can invite some Jews I know over here.

That would be nice. Seems odd that the Jews, who have the majority of this scientifically inaccurate (or really unlikely) stuff, would not take it literally, while the Christians suddenly have this pretty large amount of literalists.

Does anyone else know any Jews that might be interested in joining us?

Inerrant word of G-d ......... yes ................BUT ........... and it's a HUUUGE but ...............
Inerrant does NOT equal 100% factual, historical truth. Most Jews have no problem with the idea that some parts are allegory, some parts are metaphor, some parts are history, some parts are poetry (with all the overblown language that entails) ...... and that some of it is a list of instructions about behavior. Some of those instructions have reasons in the scripture and some don't. Those that don't are 'chok' ..... they just are instructions because G-d said that is what we should do.
As Rabbi W. J. Gershon said, "The Torah is true, and some of it may even have happened."
