Hi s23b, welcome aboard. Interesting site you mention; although the article entitled Scientism and the New Atheism did make me want to vomit in my mouth. But there seems to be a lot of more sensible stuff there.

But there seems to be a lot of more sensible stuff there. Well as you may see down in the comments section, there have also been plenty of objections from the other members as well. And believe it or not, the site has been for many of us there a refugee forum from VFXsite like this for many Carmists The world is becoming a better place to live in

The site is not specifically atheist, so you may find articles that are on the other side as well. I didn't like that article either, but hey, at least the site isn't totally biased. ;P

Oh well, different strokes. I'll say! First an ad hominem attack; then a blatant lie about his opponents' position; then by way of a supercilious sneer to a breathtakingly inane remark to a whole field of strawmen, weasel-words his way to the conclusion that 'scientism' is a religion - a title he would be "embarrassed to hold". Well, if this 'scientism' is anything like MitchLeBlanc represents it to be then I would be embarrassed to hold it too. But fortunately Mr. LeBlanc has, shall we say, a rather deeply flawed understanding of what science is.
