Thanks Dave! Where in So Cal are you? I grew up down there. I live in the Inland Empire area of Southern California. The town I live in is called Mentone which is just east of Redlands and San Bernardino. I live about 1/2 mile from the elementary school I went to as a child. That kind of makes it sound like I've never been anywhere, but believe me, time as an OTR truck driver has given me the opportunity to visit each of the 48 continental states and even parts of Canada. I spent a lot of time in Anaheim, Santa Ana, Fullerton and Irvine, but made it out to the Inland Empire many times.
I, however, have never been to New Orleans, but will go there someday.

Naz -- have you been to K-Paul's? I'm sure there are many fine restaurants there, but I've always wanted to go to PP's since I bought his cookbook and made many of the dishes.
