Something very slippery about consciousness. The fact that each of us has a now, just one at a time, that strings together with the previous and the next now, to form a knowable lifetime, that corresponds in some regular way with the one now that everybody else has that strings together with their previous and future nows to form their lifes and a historical and present and future human consciousness.
