When I logged into MSN this morning I was presented with a link to a news site detailing a new documentry film that is about to be released in the UK. This film makes the rather odd claim that before his ministry started Jesus may well have travelled to England! I couldn't find the original link but here is a link to a similar article www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1230860/Was-Jesus-taught-Druids-Glastonbury-New-film-claims-possible-came-England.html. This seems to be an irrational claim - why would someone travel all of the way across the Roman Empire just to visit England? As mentioned in the article it is nothing more than specualtion based on William Blake's Jerusalem. I think that this is a very good example of how an idea can come to be considered truth - who know maybe in a couple of hundred years it will become church doctorine!

And did those feet in ancient times? He certainly got about. Last I heard he spent a good few years in India before starting his ministry. Maybe he stopped off at North Sentinel Island and gave them the good news too.

Wow, that sounds like spectacular wishful thinking. Not only was Jesus white, blonde and blue-eyed, he also lived in Berkshire just like Daddy! Although props for getting across the empire and back by the age of 30.

Jesus also popped in to visit the Nephites in America - and that has become doctrine, of the Mormon church, and it didn't take much longer than 100 years either.

It could be a plausible explanation why Jesus has a slight English accent in some of the movies
