If you're not going to believe in God (an agent capable of creating the universe) then you're going to need to come up with a naturalistic (aka mindless, purposeless, accidental) explanation for the universe and everything in it. Not really. "I don't know" is a perfectly valid answer, and it has the virtue of being honest to boot. "I don't know" is not only non-scientific, but does not answer anything. It is not an answer. It is a lack of an answer, which does not refute "God" as an answer with anything of substance.

Nobody needs to refute 'God' as an answer, since it has not been established as being true. It's even less of an answer than 'Don't know' since it claims a certainty that is unwarranted. 'Don't know' is very scientific, since the lack of knowledge is the reason why we employ science in the first place.

It is clear that you don't know anything about science. How is making stuff up, better than "I don't know"? Oh, wait, it's not.

well, let's take it one at a time: pick one thing that I said and try to refute it. Everything I mentioned is in the liberal playbook. Atheists hate freedom. Support that assertion.

Atheists hate freedom. Support that assertion. And whilst you're about it, I'm really interested in the evidence that atheists are "jealous of monkeys and worms and rats and fish". I never realized we were so impoverished!

sorry, but "atheism" is the conscious and purposeful rejection of God......which is thus a rejection of love. When you reject love, then all those mention above follow as a natural consequence. Sorry, but your belief that atheism is the conscious rejection of God is an artifact of your own mindset. To you, perhaps, it seems obvious that God is real, so you assume He is real to atheists too, so therefore they must be rejecting Him. So you may not be able to actually envisage this, but take it from a lifelong atheist that it is true: to an atheist, there is nothing to reject.

I read your list again, and I can't say I hate any of them. Most of them are ridiculous, a few annoy me, but that's about it. รณ.o

Why is anyone bothering to feed the troll?

Why is anyone bothering to feed the troll? Good point. It makes them more inclined to stay or come back like stray cats.

Why is anyone bothering to feed the troll? I agree with Gao. I wonder how many times SS has posted this kind of junk over at CARM and how many times he's received the same answers. Which he's never paid any attention to. It's all an exercise in futility. Dave

Why is anyone bothering to feed the troll? I agree, though I am guilty of giving a snack. We should probably just let this one die off. His objective is clearly to flame and not have discussion. He admits in the OP that it should be deleted since all he is doing is trolling.

I always think at such messages: Is it this what I am required to think about others when becoming a Christian? It'll be interesting to see how long it takes for this post to be deleted! Why, it's a fine example of Christian thinking. Marco

After talking with activist atheists on forums like this for almost 3 years. Sadly, I've come to the conclusion that these people are generally a sad, miserable group of people, and there are many things in life that they truly despise. Hate, really, is a better word, so I'll use that. <snip> What bunk!
