There is often a lot of confusion regarding the terms for (a)theism. The following are brief descriptions of a few of such words.
Theist:(n) one who believes in one or more deities.
Mono-theist:(n) one who believes in only one deity.
Poly-theist:(n) one who believes in more than one deity.
Atheist:(n) one who is not a theist.
Weak Atheist:(n) one who does not believe in the existence of one or more deities; A simple reply of "I'm not convinced" to the theist's "God(s) exist(s)!".
Strong Atheist:(n) one who believes that no deities exist. A reply of "You're wrong" to the theist's "God(s) exist(s)!".
Apatheist:(n) one who does not care if one or more deities exist.
Antitheist:(n) one who is against religion.
Misotheist:(n) one who believes in, and hates God(s).
Agnostic:(adj) believing that the existence of deities cannot be proven. A modifier for both theism/theist and atheism/atheist; not some mysterious third option.
Ignostic:(adj) believing that the question of the existence of deities is meaningless until a coherent definition arises. A modifier for atheism/atheist.
Agratheist: 1)(n) One who worships the god of Agriculture. 2)(n) a sour theist. 3)(n) a word made up by Matt Slick in order to troll atheists.
Pantheist:(n) one who believes that everyone and everything in the universe is unified as one consciousness.

check and check..........wait, is 'agratheist' one who worships the god of agriculture? One would think so at first sight, but if you examine the etymology of ' agra' carefully, and remembering it's adjectival intent, you will discover it means "a sour theist".

Polly-theist. Person who parrots the beliefs of their parents without giving any thought to the matter themselves.
Weak atheist is also known as Agnostic atheist.

Weak atheist is also known as Agnostic atheist. That's a weird way of wording it, as Agnostic already has a meaning, so if one were to say they were an Agnostic Atheist, you wouldn't know if they were a weak atheist or an atheist(even a strong atheist) who believes it is impossible to prove the (non)existence of deities. How about: Pantheist:(n) one who believes that everyone and everything in the universe is unified as one consciousness. Great. How could I have left them out?

I think a short definition would be someone who embraces a synthesis of atheistic and theistic viewpoints. I guess you missed my CARM thread on that.

syntheist:(n) one who believes in one or more deities yet does not believe in any deities? That doesn't seem to make any sense. However, if you're talking about worldviews neither theism nor atheism alone offers one.
